4600 solar PV panelson a sports complex

Leading in both all-access and elite sports while being one of the most sustainable sports complexes in the Netherlands: that is the goal of Sportstad Heerenveen. In line with this vision Sportstad applied for a SDE+ subsidy to install 4600 solar panels on the roof of Sportstad, the skeeler track and the Abe Lenstra Stadium of Dutch Eredivisie team SC Heerenveen.

The Green World Company created an initial technical design for Sportstad and drew up a request for proposal (RFP). This request for proposal was submitted to several professional providers, after which the proposals were inventoried and evaluated. After the management of Sportstad had made its choice for a provider, we were asked to supervise the construction.
